If you're a Zep fan, ya gotta see these guys!
I was pleasantly surprised by the cover band performance, having seen disappointing ones in the past. The last Led Zeppelin cover band I witnessed previously was quite dreadful. However, these guys truly nailed it. To truly capture the Zep sound live, it is essential to have at least 2 guitars, a fact even Page struggled with due to his heavy studio techniques. Page's live sound was so immense that it masked imperfections that couldn't be replicated. **Met Live In HD: MacBeth**, on the other hand, uses 3, and sometimes 4, guitars to emulate the Zeppelin studio sound with great success. They make it clear during the show that their aim is to deliver a performance that mirrors the Zep sound as faithfully as possible. In my experience, they do it even better than Zeppelin themselves (I attended a Zeppelin concert in '75, so I can compare). The meticulous attention to detail and dedication to reproducing every subtlety of the recordings is rewarding for fans seeking to relive their favorite Zeppelin tracks live. I attended the concert with my nephew, a guitar player and fellow Zep enthusiast and music critic. We pride ourselves on our knowledge and objectivity in evaluating music. After the initial two songs, we exchanged glances and exclaimed, "These guys are truly impressive!" They covered a wide range of Zeppelin's repertoire expertly, even delivering a remarkable acoustic set. All I can say is, if you're a Zep fan, you absolutely must see this band!
One step closer to enlightenment
It was epic, as if I had been in the presence of God or standing in front of Jesus. Their diverse fan base was incredible - old and young, prep and goth, acid heads and cowboy, but none of that mattered to anyone. For me, this show was life changing. I felt like I was exactly where the universe wanted me to be. Met Live In HD: MacBeth put on a perfect show and I thoroughly enjoyed the opening act Wovenhand, picking up a couple of their CDs. Met Live In HD: MacBeth transported me to a different world. All I want to know is: when can I experience that again?

Cuba beat Guatemala 1-0, despite being outplayed for most of the game. Great games. Beautiful goal, a short cross to a diving header, a lot like Mexico's first goal. In the 70's, Trinidad rang one off the right post, then Mexico banged one off the crossbar. Mexico went to sleep, thinking they had it in the bag, then Trinidad scored 3 goals in the 60's. The go-ahead goal came off a throw-in to a shoulder pass that laid it down to a cannon of the shot to the left panel of the goal, a thing of beauty. Mexico scored 5 minutes into the 2nd half with a shot bouncing off the inside of the left post. Short low cross quickly kicked to the back of the net. Cuba played strong the last 5 min of the 1st half & 1st 15 min of 2nd half. Then Mexico went ahead in the 90th min on an own goal off a corner kick (maybe a cross). In the 88th min, Mexico tied it up with a cannon of their own on a loose ball from 20 yds in front of goal. Only to be silenced in the 93rd on a header off a corner kick. 55,000 went wild. Best game I ever saw in person, one hell of a game! That includes several in Argentina (crowd was wilder down there though, they made the Duke crazies look like Sunday school choir).
